How We Give Back
Our practice was founded on the values of generosity and radically loving our neighbors. We look to be generous with our time for each of our patients, and also seek to give generously to our community as an act of love!
We commit to supporting refugee families who have resettled in San Diego through partnering with Love Does.
Dr. Parks also creates space each month to travel to our neighbors in Tijuana to provide care to children seeking asylum on “Mission Monday” which is the first Monday of every month!
For every new patient in our office we are able to fund 1 month of education for a child at the Love Does School in Mexico!

Bring your children to their dental visits!
By ensuring your children are healthy you are also creating an opportunity for our practice to give back!
Second, donate your hygiene packs after your visits!
Each visit we give your child a hygiene pack. If you use your own toothpaste and toothbrushes at home, drop your child’s bag off at the front desk and Dr. Parks will bring your bag to the refugee camp each Mission Monday!
We cherish that we have the opportunity to provide your child with the best dental experience. We also look to leverage that opportunity to expand access to good health for children around the world. Partner with us in our attempt to make our community, city and world a better place!

Making a Difference in Our Community and Around the World
At Parks Pediatric Dentistry, we believe in using our skills to help those in need both locally and globally. Through our partnership with Love Does, we provide resources for refugee families in San Diego, including access to dental care, housing, food, and clothing. We also regularly visit their school in Tijuana, Mexico, where we provide oral health services to children waiting for asylum cases to be processed.
Beyond our local community, Dr. Parks has helped build the pediatric dental curriculum for dental students in Malawi, Africa. These outreach efforts are fundamental to our practice's values and mission.
